Phil Campbell is a small town in the Northwest corner of the state of Alabama and is home to about 1,000 people.  The charming downtown area features a large water tower painted with the face of a bobcat (the high school mascot).  For one weekend in June the town hosts an annual celebration known as the Downtown Hoedown which features a 5k race, a car show, carnival rides, dancing competitions, and local bands.  In 2011 (on the 100 year anniversary of the town's incorporation) the town was struck by an unimaginable disaster, that forever changed the lives of its citizens.  Below is a series of videos entitled "Fond of Phil" which features citizens from Phil Campbell, AL telling us what they love most about their town.
