What are your favorite hobbies or pastimes? Why do you enjoy them? I really enjoy watching/listening to Nascar. I am a huge Tony Stewart fan!! I enjoy it because it’s more competitive now than it was just 10 years ago.

When did you first hear about the town of Phil Campbell, Alabama? Brooklyn Phil friended me on Facebook. I have never heard of Phil Campbell, Alabama until then. I’m now friends with lot of folks from Phil Campbell and watching how things are going down there.

Were you able to attend the Phil Campbell Hoedown of June 2011? Unfortunately, I was unable to go at that time but, I am looking forward to visit in the very near future! I am hoping possibly next summer.

You are a Phil Campbell. What do you think of that name? As a kid growing up I always thought it wasn’t a common name so I really liked it. All my friends, teachers, family had always called me “ Phil” It was my Dad’s middle name so I cherish that more now since he has passed.

Tell us a little about yourself, as many words as you would like.  I am a single father of a beautiful daughter who in just a few weeks will turn 14 years old. I love being a parent. I wouldn’t change it for the world. She is a good kid for sure. I am a security officer for an awesome company; I love my job as well. I’m short, bald but a very funny guy! I am from a large family. I am third oldest out of 10 children. It was very interesting growing up as a child. I was raised in a small town like Phil Campbell, Alabama. Everyone knew everyone -- I do miss that at times. I’m currently living 30 minutes from there now. Just enjoying life to the fullest and continue to learn every day on how to continue to be a better person in society. I am the type of person if you call me for help I will be there to assist in any way I can. I am a jack of all trades and a master of none, or at least that’s what I have been told. Growing up in a big family has really made me the man I am today.
